What do you do:
– For work?
I come up with the visual language that best represents brands in both digital and analog mediums. In other words, I make pretty pictures.
– For fun?
I like to take in inspiration from art, movies, websites, music, books, and nature. My boys also inspire me with their drawings and creativity. I tend to draw sometimes, too.
Your contribution to the optimism playlist?
Pixies – “Here Comes Your Man”
Why did you pick this song? What does it do for you?
This song takes me back to my art school years, when I really felt free and able to express my creativity with different mediums and like-minded folks. I was young, independent and doing exciting work. The Pixies were also starting out in their creative journey and experimented with new sounds that influenced many other bands after them. This song exemplifies that emerging feeling of doing something great and new. Experimentation. Innovation. Being creative.
Anything else you want to say?
I try to continue to find moments that take me back to those years of unbounded creativity but life gets in the way. Perhaps in my twilight years, I’ll get back to those moments and play this song again.
Where can we find you?
We put our bodies on a diet. Why not our brains? This is the motivation for our optimism playlist
Here’s proof that optimism rules. That it’s good for business. And music, of course, improves health and well being.
