What do you do:
– For work?
I get to build and solve. It’s design that works. Not just ideas, but solutions.
– For fun?
I’m a big sports fan, and so is my son. So family, sports.
And reading. As long as it’s written well and can make me think, there’s no subject I’m not interested in if it’s entertaining.
Your contribution to the optimism playlist?
“Upside Down” by Jack Johnson
Why did you pick this song? What does it do for you?
This is from the Curious George soundtrack and I’m a big Curious George fan. You wouldn’t think saying something like turn it upside down would be an optimistic view, but sometimes it takes that and it’ll work out.
Phrasing it as “turn the whole thing upside down” is kind of a revolution. It’s a lighter, softhearted way to say you need to just break the rules. If you phrased it as revolution, I’m less likely to join in. If we have to turn this whole thing on it’s end and take a fresh look, I’m in. This song did that for me.
Anything else you want to say?
Go Auburn!
